Cailte grew up in a small town in rural Massachusetts.
By the age of eleven he was playing regularly in Boston. By twenty-one he was touring North America. Now, at twenty-seven
he has started Mud Room Records and his debut CD on the label will be released in June of 2008. Cailte has played a supporting role in many regional acts such as Drew Ambrose, Back Alley Boys,
and most recently with country music star Darren Bessette. Cailte
has been featured by several music critics and performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee with his
close friend Big Al Downing just before Al's passing. 2009 is sure
to be a banner year for Cailte and for Mud Room Records.
